Ingredients:
1 cup Green Moong Daal,1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder,2 tsp Oil,1 tsp Clarified Butter,1 tsp Cumin Seeds,Ginger, very finely chopped,Green Chillies slit in the middle,Onions, finely sliced,Salt to taste,Fresh Coriander, finely chopped, to garnish.
Preparation:
Wash and soak daal for 30 min and pressure cook with 1/4 tsp turmeric powder till it is soft. Heat oil and ghee in a heavy pan and splutter cumin seeds, then put ginger, green chillies and onion. When the onion is soft and cooked, put the daal and adjust salt. Add a cup or two of water so that the consistency is not too thin nor too thick. Ingredients:
500 grams of Channa (boiled),1 tsp tumeric,1 tsp corriander powder.1 tsp chilli powder,1 tsp cholay masala 250/300 grams of Red lentil,4/5 boiled hard eggs,2 tomatoes,1 medium onion,1/2 ghee/oil,1 tspGinger/Garlic.
Preparation:
Heat up oil in pot add the ghee/oil and heat it up throw in some onions and fry it until golden brown, add ginger, garlic, tomatoes straight after that give it a good mix and now mix the boiled chana to it.Let it smeamer for abt 10 mins and than add all the spices as above, after that add 3 cup of water and let it boil and as soon as cholay starts boiling start slowing putting the washed red lentils and mix it well, decrease heat to low heat and it cook in low heat for around 25 mins or so until it has cooked.Another small pot put in 4/5 eggs and boil it it hard, and after the cholay is cooked cut the eggs in half and put it in the cholay!Enjoy with naan or roti !Please keep watching our website www.recipestipspk.blogspot.com

Daal masoor 2 cups,Tomato 1,Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp,Salt to taste,Ginger/Garlic paste 2 tsp,Kari patta few leaves,Zeera 1/2 tsp.Red chilli (whole),Immli ka pani 1/2 cup,Kalonji 1/2 tsp,Oil,Garlic 3 cloves.
Preparation:
First of all boil the daal with red chilli powder,salt,tomato,ginger/garlic paste.Blend it in a blender for 1-2 minutes.Then put it in a pot, add green corriander, kari patta, and imli water and simmer on low heat for 10 more minutes. Preparation:
Brown the onion, then add 1 cup of water and let cook over medium heat. Keep stirring and crush onion as you stir.Now add the garlic and ginger keep stirring, and then add all the dry ingredients.Add the daal and stir well, stir till you see oil seperate from the daal.Add one cup of water, bring the water to boil and then reduce the flame to low and cover saucepan with a lid.Cook for about 10-15 minutes or when the daal is cooked.Garnish with green chilis.
