Ingredients:
1 cup Green Moong Daal,1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder,2 tsp Oil,1 tsp Clarified Butter,1 tsp Cumin Seeds,Ginger, very finely chopped,Green Chillies slit in the middle,Onions, finely sliced,Salt to taste,Fresh Coriander, finely chopped, to garnish.
Preparation:
Wash and soak daal for 30 min and pressure cook with 1/4 tsp turmeric powder till it is soft. Heat oil and ghee in a heavy pan and splutter cumin seeds, then put ginger, green chillies and onion. When the onion is soft and cooked, put the daal and adjust salt. Add a cup or two of water so that the consistency is not too thin nor too thick.
