Ingrediants:
1 kg fish1/2 cup tamarind,1 tsp coriender pwdr1 tsp qasoori methi,1/2 cup fresh dhania,1/4 cup fresh mint,1 tsp red chillie powder,1 tsp zeera,3-4 green chillies,2-3 stems green or spring onions.1-2 stems of green garlic,1/2 cup oil.
Preparation:
Add all dry spices into oil n fry on low heat till they give a strong smell n change colour.Add garlic, chillies, onions, tamarind water,mint n dhania(cilantro) together and grind finely in liquidiser or food processor.Pour the mixture in the heated oil n raise the heat.Cook till its completely done n all water dries up.Add fish n lower heat immediately. Carefully toss the fish fillets in masala and let them cook for 12 minutes then add water enough to tender fish and maintain consistency of salan.Serve hot with roti or white rice.
