Beef chili dry is one of the most popular Chinese recipe. The basic Chinese beef chili is prepared with only beef and green chillies. But adding a few other vegetables brings is more flavor and color.

Ingredients:
Meat (undercut) ½ kg
Papaya paste ½ cup
Carrot 1 (sliced)
Spring onion a few sprigs
Garlic 5 to 6 cloves
Stock ½ cup
Green chillies 6 to 8
Black pepper crushed 1 tsp
Oyster sauce 4 tbsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Chinese salt 1/3 tsp
Oil 3 to 4 tbsp
Salt to taste.
Cooking Directions:
Cut meat in small pieces and marinate it in papaya and garlic paste for ½ an hour.
De-seed the green chilies.
Heat oil in pan and add marinated meat, Chinese salt, black pepper, salt to taste, sugar and oyster sauce and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Now add stock in it and cook till it thickens.
Now add chillies and cook a little and dish it out.
Garnish it with carrot and spring onion and serve hot with fried rice.
